Hariom Chauhan (born 29 November 1994) is a Indian. systems administrator  and hacker or cyber security expert who was accused in 2013 of perpetrating the "biggest college Id's  hack of all time," although Hariom Chauhan himself states that he was merely looking for newly virus and malware for public.

Alleged crime[edit]

Hariom Hacker was accused of hacking into 30 computer of colleges and Facebook id's over a 13-month period between February 2012 and March 2013, at his personal house in Kotwan using the name 'Harry'.


After his first blog came in the limelight, Hariom Hacker became sought-after among the corporate clients in India as well as on the conference speaking circuit. He wrote more blogs on computer security, and spoke at several seminars across schools and colleges in India. In addition, he started providing his own computer security courses, including the " Hariom Hacker Certified Ethical Hacker" programme in alliance with TAO HACKERS GROUP.

In 2014, the Sanskrit Mathura Centre for Distance Learning signed an MoU with Hariom to organise its one-month Diploma in Cyber Security.

In 2015, hariom hacker stated that he was working in GURGAON as an Internet security expert for "Cyber Crawler and Cyber Security Expert".

Hariom was dismissed as a fad by some security and cryptography enthusiasts, who attributed his success to the tech-illiterate media. Hariom has dismissed the critics who question his credibility as an expert, saying "If I had been fake, my growth would have not stopped"..
