Hariusu

Hariusu (Kanji: 張碓 hiragana: はりうすちょ), is a small town outside of Otaru in the Hokkaido prefecture of Japan. It sits alongside the Hariusu river and has a population of around 735 people.
The town was founded in the Meiji era, specifically the year 1902.
