Harrow Road Boyz (HRB), also referred to as Pattern gang, is a British street gang from Kensal Green, London.
On 2 April 2020, Muscle Gotti died in a car crash in Wembley. He was involved in a police chase.[1]
Music
One of the earliest members out of the gang who started rapping was Meckeal Pond, professionally known as Ratlin (born 20 July 1990). Ratlin's commercial success came with the mixtape Youngest In Charge which was released in August 2011.[2] He has since released numerous mixtapes including Summertime In Mexico and its sequel Summertime In Mexico 2, both of which have accumulated over one million views on YouTube. Ratlin used to play for the local football team Queens Park Rangers at 11.[3] Rashid Kasirye of Link Up TV described Ratlin's song "Messiah" as a turning point for the company as numerous bookings started coming into the company as a video director.[4]
Fredo was a young member of the Harrow Road Boyz under Ryan Regi and Rugrat, and initially, he’d never tried rapping, however when he saw rival gangs rapping and their lyrical content, he began his music career as he felt they weren't authentic, as well as to put the Harrow Road Boyz in the limelight by recording his own songs. He has achieved commercial success with numerous charted singles.[5]
Controversy
£R
The Harrow Road Boyz have been in an ongoing rivalry with nearby hip hop collective and gang £R whose most successful artist is C Biz.[6][7][8][9] This has resulted in numerous shootings, stabbings and kidnappings amongst the groups.[10][6][11][9] The rivalry has been described as to be a typical "postcode war",[12] as South Kilburn is part of NW6 while Mozart Estate is in W10 and in the City of Westminster.
1011/CGM
HRB has also been in conflict with 1011/CGM, located in the Portobello Road area of Notting Hill. A mass brawl took place in Westminster, with CGM rapper Digga D involved. He was later sent to prison on criminal charges. Other notable members of 1011/CGM include ZK, TY, JDF, Rack5, KaySav, JSav/Sav’O, Horrid1, AP and AK.
