£verythings Relevant (£R) is a British hip hop collective and street gang from South Kilburn, London. All rappers publish their music through the record label £R Records.[1]
Background
C Biz was the first rapper from the group who received recognition in the mainstream with his song "The Game's Mine" released in November 2015.[2] Biz was charged with murder in 2016, however he was acquitted of the crime in 2017, and in response, released the single "Fresh Out".[3] He released "The Game is Mine" in the same year with features from Yxng Bane amongst others.[4]
C Biz, Young Tribez, Hurricane & F1 appeared in Tim Westwood's Crib Session to perform numerous freestyles in February 2017.[5] C Biz went on to release the single "Drip" in 2018.[6]
On 19 July 2019, £R member C Biz was stabbed by an opposing gang member.[7] C Biz and M-Lo released the song "XXX" in December 2019.[8] C Biz released the single "Pick Up" in March 2020.[9]
Controversy
Ice City Boyz
C Biz's rap gang £R are also involved in a long-term rivalry with Ice City Boyz. It was alleged that a member of ICB was posing with a gold chain that was apparently stolen from MC Big Keyz of £R.[10] Nines published a video on his social media with a handful of gold jewellery, including an Audemars Piguet watch that was supposedly stolen from C-Biz. It has been reported that the pair have a history of rivalry relating to the killing of Zino, Nines's brother who was murdered in 2009.[11] As a result, a drive-by shooting happened in the church road estate which resulted in the death of Oliver Tetlow in what was said to be a case of mistaken identity. This garnered the attention of former prime minister David Cameron who condemned the shooting. C Biz and six other men were bailed for the shooting.[12] And Biz specifically was cleared of murder following a four week trial.[13]
Harrow Road Boyz
£R has also been in an ongoing rivalry with a gang from the nearby Mozart Estate, known as the Harrow Road Boyz, a rap collective and gang, whose most successful artist is Fredo.[14][15][16][17] This has resulted in numerous shootings, stabbings and kidnappings amongst the groups.[18][14][19][17] The rivalry has been described as a typical "postcode war",[20] as South Kilburn is part of NW6 while Mozart Estate is in W9 and in the City of Westminster.
