Hariharan (born 23 October 1997) is popularly known by the stage name, Harry D Cruz. He is a veru talented Beatboxer, KBC Champion, India's finest talent to produce the sound of saxophone instrument with the use of his vocal cord, Musicality Beatboxer, Entertainer, Emcee and a National awardee. The young achiever explores various genres of music and also served as a beatboxer coach. It was just the mic with which he does all the magic, rocking 100+ shows, performances and events and winning people’s hearts.
Journey[edit]
Just like anybody of us, Harry was also a very ordinary student until one of his seniors at college spoke to him and introduced him to beatboxing in the year 2014. Until that moment, he was not aware of the fact that there was something called beatboxing that existed. Holding onto his curiosity, Harry went back home and googled an learnt a lot about beatboxing. He logged into one of the online beatboxing tutorials and constantly learnt the basics of the art. After a couple of months of practice, he produced the art in front of his friend. This was indeed a kick start moment to his journey. Everybody were impressed with his new talent. Further excelling his skills of the art, he grew tall as a professional beatboxer, emcee, entertainer and more.
Career[edit]
Being a Bangalorean, Harry initially started as a star performer at various college/cultural and other fests, corporate events, live shows, concerts, etc across the city. To get better at what he did, he took up various certifications and exhibited brilliance by winning numerous Beatbox championships.
In the year 2017 Harry became the champion of Kerala Beatbox Championship. Gaining considerable amount of fame, he got an opportunity to perform in an event called Latest Bollywood Music, a show hosted by Radio Mirchi 95 FM. He is India's finest who can produce the sound of saxophone instrument with the use of his vocal cord. Further, Harry served a beatbox coach for a year. Later, he expanded his profile by obtaining a national level certification as a Beatboxing judge. Continuing his career as a beatboxer, Harry performed in numerous events like humming tree, Mahal Keleeravam, Bandhu Mitra and the list continues. He judged various inter and intra collegiate fests at colleges like Cavery College, SEA Degree college, St. George’s college, Dayanand Sagar Institute of Technology, Vemana Institute of Technology, etc. Serving as the Cultural Secretary at Indian Academy Degree College from the year 2017 to the year 2018, he got immense exposure, through which he could reach more people. In 2018 he judged the beatbox competition, held at National youth festival, Garden City University. To add on, Archish 2K18, the 10th National level management and cultural Fest was another highlight in his career. As he traverses deeper in his career, he has been meeting multiple prodigies, achievers, icons, artists and more. Some of them to cherish is The director of ISRO, Film producer Nandhini Nagaraj, President of Karnataka Security Association BM Shashidri, Samyukta Hegde and Dr Alva, appreciating his talent. It’s not just Beatboxing, Along with judging the LSB Beatbox Championship at Dragon house, Harry got into dance, performed and got certified as the best performer by Hipnotics Dance Company.

Performing on 100+ stages, Harry has won numerous awards and recognition. Along with judging numerous Beatboxing battles. He is a certified performer at TEDx ABBS[1] in 2019 and has performed a total of 4 times at TEDXNCHE, TEDXGAT[2], TEDx ABBS, TEDX Siddhagana Institute of Technology. The National level certified Beatboxing judge has also been featured in number of interviews, articles and documentaries for his contribution in the field of Beatboxing like a gist on the experience of Beatboxing by Atkt Media Company[3], article on Indian Express, a thought-sharing session with the channel V3 and online biography by the website Match My Talent[4] and many more. Harry has judged the biggest fest in Bangalore called the IKYA 2018 Fiesta at Nagarajuna Institute of Technology where actor Allu Arjun was the chief guest. Also, he performed for Innovative Wine Festival at Innovative Film City on 25 December 2018 to exhibit his amazing talent of beatboxing. Being the finalist of Mirchi Decode your Talent 2018, he is recognized as the best beatboxer in Indian Academy and has been named among the students as "beat.” Harry is also titled as Mr. TARANGINI 2k18 by Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni college for women. He is awarded the Best performer 2k16 by Hal Malayalee association.
