History (2017–present)[edit]

The band was founded in early 2017 by keyboardist Julien Schwitzer-Scheiss and guitarist Tormund Ibsen, who met in the Bern Academy of Music.[1] Joined by Gaëtan Lieczejewski, who left the band shortly thereafter, they released their first single, titled "Bad Behaviour", on July 28, 2017.

The song had very little to no chart success,[2] and the band changed their lineup in January 2018. Elizaveta Stroom and Marc Baum Reiner joined the band to play drums and bass respectively, to form a 4-piece band. Irish singer Caoilfhionn Evans supplied vocals on the band's live performances throughout 2018. Evans joined the band as a full member in March 2018, when the band started working on an extended play. However, the Irish's vocals were eventually removed from all tracks, with the Israeli Åri Agam replacing her.[3][4]

The departure of Caoilfhionn Evans was never announced, but she did not perform with the band following Agam's entrance to the band's lineup.

With the Israeli as the lead singer, the band released their debut EP, Firm but Gentle, on September 30, 2018. The EP was re-released on September 28, 2019, in order to promote their forthcoming single, "Verena", to be released October 11th.[5]

Åri Agam has announced their intentions to release an album as a solo artist in early 2020, but hasn't made it clear yet if the album will be with or without the remainder of the band.[6]
