Haus are a Five piece British alternative rock band from Tottenham in North London. The band consists of Ashley Mulimba (Vocals), Daniel Hylton-Nuamah (Guitar), Sam Kelly (Guitar and Backing Vocals), Lyle Simpson (Drums) and Ellis Mortimer (Bass, Synth, and Backing Vocals).

History[edit]

Formed in Tottenham. Daniel Hylton-Nuamah, Lyle Simpson, Ellis Mortimer and Sam Kelly met and formed a band whilst studying at the Institute of Contemporary Music using different singers as a 4 piece, until they became a 5 piece when Ashley Mulimba joined the band as originally a synth player, before switching guitar and subsequently becoming the Lead Vocalist for Haus.[1]

They released their first single 'Haze' in 2015, followed by single 'Blinded'. In 2016 they released the single 'Two Minds' followed by singles 'Gave You All',[2] 'Levels' and 'Say What You Say' in 2017.

In 2017, They also performed headline shows at Club NME, KOKO, and are playing festivals including The Great Escape, Secret Garden Party, Dot-to-Dot, Truck, Hit The North Festival, Live At Leeds and Reading/Leeds Festivals. As well as European festival dates playing Colours of Ostrava in the Czech Republic and Grape Festival in Slovakia. They embarked on their first Headline UK Tour in 2017. [3]
