Haus of Decline is a multimedia project that consists primarily of webcomics and a podcast created by two people named Alex and Stephen, with both the comics being written and the podcast being hosted by Alex.[1] The standard style for the comics is named "Gay Comics",[2] which consist of four-panel scenarios, though they are occasionally in different styles. The comics are known for their feature of LGBTQ characters and depictions of human penises. One of the comics which features the characters of the animated series Steven Universe meeting Adolf Hitler in which they determine that they are "gonna have to kill this guy" became a popular meme on the internet.[3] Alex came out as transgender in April 2024 and identifies as a woman and goes by she/her pronouns.[4] Haus of Decline has 207.9K followers on Twitter as of May 2024.
