Hawaa[2] is a 2019 Indian Telugu-language action crime comedy film directed by Mahesh Reddy. The soundtrack was composed by Gifton Elias[3]. The film released on 23 August 2019.[4] [5]
Hawaa is the first Telugu film completely shot in Australia. The Concept poster was unveiled by Sekhar Kammula[6][7][8]. The motion teaser was revealed by Rana Daggubati[9]. The love track "Na Nibulin.. Kalimna.." was launched by RJ Potugadu @ Radio city 91.1fm. The theme track was launched by Lakshmi Manchu[10][11][12]. The Theatrical Launch took place at Ramanaidu Studios in the presence of Raj Kandukuri, Madhura Sreedhar Reddy, B. V. Nandini Reddy, Johnny Master, B. V. S. Ravi, Venu Udugula, Media & other dignitaries[13]
Plot[edit]
A gripping nightmarish journey in broad daylight which revolves around 9 Brains.. 9 Crimes.. 9 Hours..!!
The story is set in Australia. Charlie (Chaitanya Rao Madadi) loses his parents at a young age and gets into small-time crimes to make it big in life. Fed up with his small earnings, he decides to bag a jackpot by betting on a dark horse in the Australian race. He takes the help of his friend Mikey to use Mikey's boss Bijli Bhai's card to bet a huge amount in a Horse Race believing a tip-off. But when they end up losing all the money, they run which puts them and Charlie's girlfriend Divi (Divi Prasanna) in danger, and they find themselves amidst 9 crimes planned by 9 people within 9 hours.
How Charlie comes out of this mess and how he saves his love-interest (Divi Prasanna), family and friend Mikey is the rest of the story.
