Heal Rewilding
Heal Rewilding is a British environmental charity committed to nature recovery through rewilding.
Heal was established in March 2020 to raise money to buy land in the English lowlands and rewild it, to create new, species-rich havens for wildlife and people. The charity's rewilding sites will support nature recovery, take action on climate change and help improve human wellbeing through access to natural environments.
The charity's goal is a rewilding site of 500+ acres/200+ hectares in all 48 English counties, 10,000 hectares rewilded. The charity's first site will be created in the south of England before the end of 2022, and its second site will be in the north.
The charity is raising money from individual donations, business supporters and from sponsorships of its ‘Heal 3x3’ crowd-donating scheme, which links a sponsored 3m x 3m patch of land to a what3words address.
