London Bangla Press Club (Bengali: লন্ডন বাংলা প্রেস ক্লাব) is a British media-based charity based in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

History

In 1993, the London Bangla Press Club was launched as a media-based charity and a professional umbrella organisation. It brings together UK-based Bangladeshi-led media organisations in print, publishing, electronic, television, and radio. It works to broaden the horizon and empower the wider Bangladeshi community in the United Kingdom.[1][2]

The organisation is involved in promoting all forms of media education, including life, art, culture, and heritage, socio-economic, technical and creative skills training, and media-orientated employment opportunities.[1] It is located in London, and its membership consists of British journalists of Bangladeshi origin involved in the journalistic, press, publishing, or broadcasting sector.[3]
