The Healthcare Infection Society is a British charity covering concerns for infection control and prevention. It includes consultant microbiologists and trainees, nurses, and other medical professionals. The society circulates information about the control and prevention of healthcare associated infections (HCAIs).[1] It supplies sources and information to news organisations reporting on health issues.[2]
