'Heart Machine' is the debut album for Canadian born/California based singer/songwriter Aniiml, originally released under the name Lila Rose. The album combines a range of both old and modern musical styles into an interesting blend. Each track has its own identity, while still belonging to the rest of the tracks.

Over time Heart Machine received several positive reviews.
According to Simon Smith from Higher Plain Music, "Heart Machine is a stunning album. It holds a dark industrial atmosphere that encompasses everything shown on the front cover."[1]
Matthew Forss from Inside World Music stated: "Lila presents us with a theatrical production of stellar instrumentation, a wide vocal range, and a diverse lyrical set of music that is nothing short of miraculous."[2]
