Heat (company)
HEAT is a luxury fashion e-commerce platform specializing in providing mystery boxes. The business was founded in November 2019 [1] by Joe Wilkinson, Mario Maher, and Frazier Khattri,[2] the latter a Youtuber, content creator, and member of popular competitive esports team FaZe Clan.
The company began by targeting the male streetwear market, but has since expanded to the luxury fashion category.[3] In the beginning of 2020, HEAT acquired funding from private equity firm Apater Capital[4] and developed their product offering to introduce a Contemporary style option, alongside their Streetwear box. At present, the company has sold over ten thousand boxes through an audience of over 650 thousand social users.[5]
