Heather Newman is an Omaha native but moved to Kansas City at the beginning of 2015. Her debut album, Burn Me Alive, was released in December 2017 through Vizztone Label Group[1] reached #9 on the Roots Music Report Top 50 Contemporary Blues Albums during December of that year. [2]
Previously she spent two years with the Nick Schnebelen Band as a featured performer. The band released Nick Schnebelen Band Live at Knucklehead's Vol. 1 through Vizztone Label Group in July of 2016, which featured Heather on 6 tracks.[3]
