Heather Thompson Day is a writer, author, and public speaker.[1][2][3] She contributes to publications such as Newsweek[4], Religion News Service,[5] and the Barna Group.[6][7] She covers topics such as communication,[8][9] spirituality,[10] brand building,[11] and career coaching.[12] As an advocate for women and minorities[13] she addresses problems such as racism[14] and sexism.[15][16][17] Her writings and advocacy have been cited in publications including Forbes,[18] Newsweek,[19] and UpWorthy.[15]

An Associate Professor of Communication at Colorado Christian University,[20] Day is the author of six books;[21] including It’s Not Your Turn, and Confessions of a Christian Wife.

Day was born on January 1, 1987 in Berrien Springs, Michigan.

She earned her B.A. and M.A. in Communication, as well as her Ph.D., Higher Education Administration with cognate in Communication, at Andrews University, a private Seventh Day Adventist university in Berrien Springs, Michigan.[20]

Personal life[edit]

Day is a Seventh Day Adventist Christian.[8] She resides in Denver, Colorado with her husband, Seth Day, who is a pastor.[22] They have three children.
