Jeon Hee-jin (Hangul: 전희진; born October 19. 2000), known as Heejin (Hangul: 희진) is a South Korean singer and dancer. She is known as a member of the girl group LOOΠΔ.
Early life[edit]
HeeJin was born October 19, 2000 in Budang-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi province, South Korea. She is the youngest daughter and has two older sisters. She likes dancing since young age and decided becoming a singer in the middle school. Though she was rejected by many auditios, in 2015 she was contacted by her current company, BlockBerry Creative through social media. After a year and half training she was selected to be in LOONA.[1]
Carrer[edit]
The project of her group, LOONA, consists in debuting one member per month. Heejin was the first one, with her teasers being published in the Loona's youtube channel. The first teaser was released September 26, entitled as Seoul Teaser, followed by the teaser of her song ViViD and October 3 the Paris Teaser. In October 5, her sigle album HeeJin was released, along with the music video of ViViD an its acustic version, recorded in France. The signing events for the album ocurred in October 8, October 16, October 22, November 5 and January 15.[2]
She made a duet with her fellow group member Hyunjin, called I'll Be There, second track of the single album HyunJin, released in November 17, along with the music video. In December 15 she featured in a christmas song called The Carol of the single album HaSeul. Another duo with Hyunjin, named My Sunday, was released January 17, being the second track of YeoJin.
In February 2017 was released the teaser of the new sub-unit of the group Loona, named LOOΠΔ 1/3, constituted of Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul and ViVi. The unit was released March 13 with its first extended play and music video called |Love&Live, the special music video of the third track, You and Me Together was released March 20. The repackage album of the sub-unit, Love&Evil, was released 27 April with the promocional single Sonatime, July 7 was released the special music video of the third track, Rain 51db.
In July 10 a special version of Singing in the Rain, original single of Jinsoul, was released featuring Heejin.
Currently, she is a competitor of the survival show MixNine along with Hyunjin. In the group audition, she danced Mr. Chu and Free Somebody. She got first place in the fans pre-voting and the full video of her individual dance audition was posted in the official channel of the show in the korean video broadcasting site Naver TV.[3]
