Heidi Bootle (2011)

Heidi Bootle is an Australian diplomat and a career officer with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

On 24 November 2011, Australian Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd appointed Bootle as the new Consul-General in Nouméa.[1]

Before this, Bootle was the Director of the Solomon Islands Section, a job she held from February 2009 until August 2011. Bootle has previously served overseas in France and the Solomon Islands.

Bootle holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania and a Graduate Diploma in Foreign Affairs and Trade from the Australian National University. She has two children. She is able to speak French.
