Hello Health Group is a digital health company headquartered in Singapore which focuses on the development of educational healthcare knowledge and services platforms in local languages in emerging markets.[1][2][3]

History[edit]

Hello Health Group was founded by James Miles Lambert in 2015.[4] The group launched its first platform, HelloBacsi, in Vietnam within the same year.[5]

In 2016, Hello Health Group secured US$1.5 million in funding, in a round led by CMG.Asia with participation from angel investors including Thailand-based Charles Toomey, the former global head of healthcare at DKSH.[6][7] In the same year, the group launched HelloSehat.com in Indonesia.[8]

In 2017, HelloSayarwon.com was launched in Myanmar as the firstdigital health information platform in the local language.[9] In 2018, the group launched HelloKhunmor.com in Thailand.

in 2019, the group entered 3 additional markets namely, Taiwan, India and Cambodia, building its presence within and beyond Southeast Asia. In 2020, the company launched HelloDoctor.com.ph. in Philippines.[10][11]

Traffic[edit]

As of September 2020, Hello Health sites reached over 30 million unique monthly users, having over 14m social media followers and over 100,000 pieces of published content in 9 languages.[4] As of April 2022, HelloDoktor was the most visited Health website in Malaysia,[13] HelloBacsi the 2nd most visited health website in Vietnam,[14] HelloSehat the 3rd most visited health website in Indonesia[15] and HelloKhunmor was the 3rd most visited Health website in Thailand.[16]

Awards[edit]

In 2019, Hello Health Group won the Galen Growth Most Innovative HealthTech Startup in Asia award with a USD$100k award from Google.[2]
