Hemant Nagrale
Hemant Nagrale is a 1987 batch IPS officer. He is the current Mumbai Police Commissioner and has also served as director general of police, technical as well as legal.
Education
He has done his schooling from zilla parishad school of Bhadrawati in Chandrapur district and Patwardhan High School, Nagpur. Thereafter he has done his graduation from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology and is a mechanical engineer. He has also completed Master of Finance Management course from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
Works as IPS officer
He was additional superintendent of police in Chandrapur, Superintendent of Police in Ratnagiri, commissioner of police (Navi Mumbai), etc.
