Hemed Interchange (Hebrew: מחלף חמד) is a freeway interchange complex in central Israel, connecting Highway 1 and Road 3975. The interchange is located near Abu Gosh, Beit Nekofa, Ein Naqquba, Ein Rafa, Mevaseret Zion, and Ein Hemed National Park. The interchange is of the Diamond interchange type, whose bridge is built on the secondary road route and passes over Highway 1. It was opened in 1972.[1] In 2014, a new bridge was built in parallel to the old one, and in 2016, the old one was destroyed.[2][3]
