Here’s Negan is the upcoming twenty-second and final episode of the tenth season of The Walking Dead. The 153rd episode overall, the episode is set to be directed by Laura Belsey, and written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. "Here's Negan" is set to air on AMC+ on April 2, and on AMC on April 4, 2021.[1]
Synopsis[edit]
Carol takes Negan on a journey, hoping to minimize the increasing tension. Negan reflects on the events that led him to this point and comes to a conclusion about his future.[1]
Production[edit]
In February 2019, the series was renewed for a tenth season.[2] Principle photography for the season began in May 2019. Production for the original 16-episode order of season 10 was completed in November 2019, and later resumed in October 2020, for the six additional episodes for season 10. As part of the extended episodes for the season, one will focus on Negan's backstory and will introduce his wife Lucille. Jeffrey Dean Morgan will reprise his role as Negan while Morgan real-life wife Hilarie Burton will portray Lucille.[3]
