Heroes of Mavia is a blockchain-based play-to-earn massively multiplayer online (MMO) game, developed by Skrice Studio.[1][2] Players build bases on minted plots of land NFTs and battle to earn in-game resources. The game released worldwide on January 31 of 2024.[3][4] The first NFT lands were released in March 2022.[5]
Built on Ethereum, the game uses two tokens: MAVIA and RUBY. MAVIA is a governance token that gives holders the ability to vote on decisions about the future of the game. MAVIA token is also used for buying, selling and renting NFTs on the Mavia Marketplace.[4] The Mavia Marketplace is scheduled to release on May 5, 2024.[6]
Skrice Studios is the parent company of Heroes of Mavia.[7]
