Hi-Finesse is a music production company, based in Venice, California. The company creates music for film trailers and video game advertising.
History[edit]
The company was founded in 2008 by Jez Colin. Early credits include music for the first Thor teaser trailer and The Last Airbender Super Bowl spot.[1] Hi-Finesse music has since been used in numerous film trailers, including Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Dark Knight Rises, Ant-Man, Straight Outta Compton and Maleficent.[2][3]
In 2013, the company released two albums of electronic/orchestral trailer music, Axiom and Adagios. Tracks from Axiom were used in advertising campaign for films including Elysium, Total Recall and Enders Game.[1] In 2014, Hi-Finesse released Axiom 2, with music from the album used in trailers for films including The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.[4]
