Hide

Hide is a threat that you can encounter in The Hotel and The Mines.

Method

Hide attacks you if you are hiding inside of a closet and there are no more entities outside of the closet. If you still stay inside of the closet after hide starts to show a red outline across your screen, he kicks you out of the closet, dealing damage. Additionally, inside the mines, if you try to enter the same closet twice in a row, hide will recommend you to try making other closets feel included, but will still allow you, although will kick you out whenever hide feels like it. If you are inside of the same room as Figure and trigger hide, triggering a minigame.

Strategy

Professional players often enter closets to check if there are any more entities if they are unsure if there are any more entities, especially if it is inside of the mines, as entities are more unpredictable inside of the mines. Entering a closet is not recommended if Screech is on you, as screech is still able to attack you, and screech counts as an entity. Additionally, hide only appears inside of the main floors, so subfloors are safe.
