The Hotel

The Hotel is the first installment. It was released on August 10th, 2022, with the protagonist as The Adventurer and the main antagonists as The Figure and The Seek.

Plot

The Hotel follows The Adventurer as he takes an elevator to a casual reception, and they take a key to open the first door. As they continue on, they realize that not only is this hotel abandoned, but it is also haunted by many monsters. They enter a closet but they realize that something is with them inside of the closet. They leave, but after attempting it again, they realize that the thing with them was... gone. Scared, they enter a side room and watch as Rush passes by. Rush breaks the lights, so the adventurer ends up venturing in the darkness. They notice the dark smile of Screech watch them, and this freaks them out even more. They leave the dark room, but they encounter Dupe. Scared, he leaves but hears a loud scream. They watch as Ambush runs by and reaches outside of his closet, so he leaves, scaring ambush away. The adventurer leaves this and encounters Eyes, but they quickly run away. Suddenly, they notice a bunch of Seek eyes on the walls, realizing that something may be coming. As the adventurer continues down the haunted hotel and encounters Rush and Ambush and Screech over and over and over, they finally reach a long hallway, where suddenly Seek appears. Scared, the adventurer runs away, and eventually escapes from the grasps of Seek. However, they notice that Sally had popped out of the window, ready to hunt. Eventually, the adventurer escapes with the toy horse and reaches the 49th room. They open the 50th door, realizing that they just unlocked The Library, where they encounter The Figure. After reading some Books, the adventurer leaves the library and continues on in their voyage. After finding some signs advertising Jeff's Shop, they encounter Jeff and his shop, as well as some of Jeff's customers, El Goblino and Bob. After buying a Crucifix and a Skeleton Key, the adventurer leaves the shop. As the adventurer continues along, they reach The Dining Hall, where Halt is waiting for them. After outmaneuvering Halt, the adventurer leaves the dining hall and stumbles upon The Infirmary. After finding the Herb of Virdis, the adventurer continues upon their journey across the hotel. After stumbling upon Dread, they find more Seek eyes and encounter seek again, managing to escape from the grasps of Seek again. The adventurer then stumbles upon The Courtyard, but gets bored and leaves the courtyard, entering The Greenhouse. After entangling Rush with a Snare, the adventurer continues on the voyage all the way until door 100, The Electrical Room. After another run-in with The Figure, the adventurer gathers enough breakers and sets The Figure on fire. They then complete the breaker puzzle, learning how to be an Expert Technician, before going down the elevator that they re-powered. However, The Figure attacks the elevator, flinging it to oblivion before accidentally falling out, into molten lava. As the elevator starts falling into The Mines, the screen turns pitch black.
