High-waisted trousers

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Actress Sameera Reddy wearing black high-waisted trousers.

High-wasited trousers are a type of bottom apparel that sits high on the waist, with the navel completely covered or barely shown. High-waisted trousers tend to have long zippers, ranging from about 7-10 inches long. Zipper lengths are not to be confused with rises. High-waisted pants have rises typically 10 inches long or longer.[1] High-waisted trousers have come in and out of style throughout the decades, but they have become stylish again in recent years.
