HigherVisibility was founded in 2008 by Adam Heitzman and David McElveen in Memphis, TN as a regional digital marketing agency.[3] In 2012, Scott Langdon was brought on as a 3rd partner in the company.[4]
In 2016, HigherVisibility was a finalist for Best Overall SEO Initiative for the 2016 Landy Awards organized by Search Engine Land.[5] The company was also a finalist for Best Large SEO Agency of the Year organised by the U.S. Search Awards in 2007[6] and 2018.[7]
In 2018, HigherVisibility was a finalist for Best SEO Campaign for their work on Orangetheory Fitness.[8] The company was also a finalist at the 2018 Small Business Awards organized by the Memphis Business Journal.[9]
