Comfibook is a search aggregator website that collects and publishes data from many online and offline sources (such as phone directories, social networks, online photo albums, and public records).[1][2] The aggregated data is presented in snippets, with links to sources when available.[1] Comfibook collects data prior to gaining permission from the individuals to whom the data pertain; Comfibook offers to remove personal data only through a registration process, or after receiving a written request with an image of the individual's state-issued ID.[1][2][3]
