Himel Ashraf (born 04 February 1987) is a Bangladeshi television and film director, producer, and scriptwriter.[1] He is best known for his directorial debut film Sultana Bibiana.[2] He is also well known for television dramas. His upcoming movie Priyotoma is produced by Shakib Khan.[3][4]
Early life and Education[edit]
Ashraf was born on February 4, 1987, in Dhaka. His father's name is Md. Siddiqur Rahman, and his mother's name is Alfatun Nessa. He passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 2002 from Angaria High School, Shariatpur, and the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) in 2004 from St Joseph Higher Secondary School, Dhaka. In 2010, he completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Stamford University Bangladesh.
Career[edit]
In his early career, Ashraf worked with Mostofa Sarwar Farooki as an Assistant Director. From 2010, he has made television dramas, serials, music videos, and video fictions regularly.
Filmography[edit]
Ashraf directed one film in his career, Sultana Bibiana (2017). He is currently working on the pre-production of a romantic movie. Besides filmmaking, he is involved in creating TV fictions and serials.
