Hind Aleryani
Hind Al Eryani Arabic: هند الإرياني: ; born in Jiblah, Yemen) is a Yemeni activist, writer, and journalist.[1]. She is known for her campaigns against the use of khat in Yemen.[2] During the Kuwait talks between the Yemeni government and Houthis in 2016, she ran the "Don't return without peace" campaign, which was supported by numerous politicians and the UN envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.[3] Hind runs a weekly blog on Monte Carlo Doualiya.[4]
Achievements
Hind earned the Public Awareness Award at the annual Arab Women of the Year Awards 2017.[5][6]
