Hind Aleryani
Hind Al Eryani Arabic: هند الإرياني: ; born in Jiblah, Yemen) is a Yemeni activist, writer and journalist.[1]. She is known for her campaigns against the use of khat in Yemen.[2] During the Kuwait talks between the Yemeni government and Houthis in 2016, she ran "Don’t return without peace" campaign which was supported by number of politicians and the UN envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.[3] Hind runs a weekly blog on Monte Carlo Doualiya.[4]
Achievements[edit]
Hind earned the Public Awareness Award at the annual Arab Women of the Year Awards 2017.[5][6]
