Hobot Technology Inc. is established in 2010 by Chi-Mou Chao (George.)[3][4]Hobot Technology conducts both research and manufacturing in Taiwan, the main product lines are window cleaning robots and vacuum-mop robots.[5][6] Initially focusing on window cleaning robots as the main product, in 2018, HOBOT launched vacuum-mop robot line, and announced new models continuously.[7][8][9]

Hobot Technology Inc. published many patents such as "Automatic cleaner and controlling method of the same" and the patents are used in its product design.[10][11]
Anecdotes
HOBOT window cleaning robot was once targeted by the phishing scammers in 2019 in Taiwan.[12]
