Hoffman Institute

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Hoffman Institute is an international organisation that offers personal development courses for therapeutic purposes, consisting of a seven- or eight-day residential program conforming to its "Hoffman Quadrinity Process".[1] The Process is based on precepts set by the organisation's founder Bob Hoffman.

History[edit]

The Hoffman Process was founded by Bob Hoffman in 1967[2] and was originally called Fischer-Hoffman Psychic Therapy. Later the name changed to the Fischer-Hoffman Process, named after Hoffman and Siegfried Fischer.[3] Formerly a 13-week program, it was changed to an eight-day format in 1985. In 1990, Tim Laurence and Serena Gordon started the Hoffman Process in the UK with the blessing of Bob Hoffman. In 2014 the original 8-day format became a 7-day format.

Organization[edit]

Hoffman Institute centers are governed by the Hoffman Institute Foundation in the United States and Hoffman Institute International elsewhere. The Hoffman Institute Foundation is a non-profit organization headquartered in the United States. As of 2008, Hoffman Institute International has centers in Argentina, Australia,[4] Canada, France, Ireland, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Russia and the United States.
