Holiday Oil
Holiday Oil is a gas station and convenience store chain based in Utah with a strong presence along the Wasatch Front. They currently have 75 open stores. Unlike most gas stations and convenience stores, Holiday Oil owns the land underneath every store; they do not lease.[1] The first Holiday Oil opened in 1964 by a returned missionary. The name comes from the Utah city Holladay, but with different spelling. They serve gas from Sinclair and Chevron among others.[2]
Controversies
- In 2013, a Tooele Holiday put diesel in unleaded tanks, resulting in multiple cars stalling shortly after they pulled out of the station.[3]
- In 2023, they failed to meet storm water requirements in a storm in Lakeside, Utah.[4]
