Holly Green

Holly Green is an English meteorologist and weather presenter. She was trained by the Met Office and employed by the BBC until September 2017, then joined ITV Meridian.
Education and career[edit]
Green gained a degree in Mathematics at Cardiff University. While there she presented on student radio. She then gained an MSc in Meteorology at Reading University. She then joined the Met Office and spent a year training as a forecaster. She was then employed at RAF Coningsby providing detailed forecasts and daily briefings to the pilots of the Eurofighter Typhoons and the classic World War II aircraft of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. She was then offered a job at the BBC Weather Centre, working as a Duty Weather Manager alongside the national presenters. She then became part of the team that provides news and weather in the south and west of England, until her departure from presenting for BBC Weather on 15 September 2017.[1][2] She has joined ITV Meridian as a weather presenter.[3]
