Holming Wood is a mixed mature woodland in Old Holbrook, a hamlet close to Horsham, England. It lies on Hurst Hill, on the north-eastern fringes of Old Holbrook, 1 mile (1.60 km) north of the A264 dual carriageway. It is directly opposite Upper Rapeland Wood, an area of mixed ancient woodland within the same hamlet.[1]
The area lies beyond the crest of Hurst Hill on mostly flat terrain. The variety of vegetation in Holming Wood is not particularly varied. Broadleaf trees are predominant throughout, with seasonal bluebells during springtime.
Two unmaintained tracks guide walkers in cardinal directions through the woodland.
