"Homage for Satan" is a song by American death metal band Deicide appearing on their 2006 album The Stench of Redemption. It is considered by some to be among the band's greatest songs.[1]
Noisecreep stated that there was "nothing fancy" about the track, and that "it's just Deicide throwing down the gauntlet like only they can." The song features trade-off guitar solos that have drawn comparisons to Ritchie Blackmore and Michael Schenker.[1] Metal Hammer described the track as "mighty".[2]
In 2019, a video of a washing machine running along with the song went viral online, receiving coverage from American radio/television personality Howard Stern and Metal Hammer.[3][2]
