HopeRoad is an independent publisher of fiction and non-fiction from transcultural perspectives, based in London. [1] HopeRoad was founded by Rosemarie Hudson in 2010, with a focus on promoting writing from Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.

Small Axes[edit]
In 2019, Rosemarie was joined by Pete Ayrton founder of Serpent’s Tale. Pete heads the new imprint, Small Axes [1], which focuses on out-of-print post-colonial classics. The imprint launched with republication of Kamala Markandaya’s novel, The Nowhere Man. [2] [3]
