Horace Tempo (born May 18, 1984), in Cotonou, Benin, also known as Tempo,[1] is a Record producer[2], Business Executive[3], and Information technology professional.
Early life and education[edit]
Tempo, born Horace Wangnin Saizonou, was raised in Cotonou, Benin. From a young age, Tempo developed a keen interest in technology and music.
Tempo completed a French Baccalaureate in C Mathematics at Segbeya College, Cotonou, and later pursued a degree in Computer Science at the High Technology School of Benin.

Horace Tempo began his IT career as a Field Engineer, progressing to the role of General Manager. In 2016, he co-founded H2 Solutions Africa[4], a company recognized for providing tailored IT support and maintenance services. The company, serving enterprises and telecommunication giants like Vodafone and MTN, excels in Managed IT Infrastructure. Notably, in 2023, H2 Solutions Africa earned the ISO 27001 certification for its commitment to information security.
Music Producer:[edit]
Known as T E M P O in the music industry, Horace Tempo has crafted a distinct identity as a skilled music producer.[5] Embracing music production fully in 2019, he has achieved recognition with chart-topping tracks on Apple Music.[6] Despite starting during the early months of the 2020 pandemic, Tempo's dedication and self-learning led to breakthroughs, including the acclaimed single "Self" released in May 2020.[7]
Collaborating with renowned producer Nel Oliver, Tempo contributed to the "Upheaval" remix project in 2021, addressing contemporary injustices.[8] His international presence expanded further with collaborations like "For Love" in 2022 with South African DJ Citizen Deep.[9] The track seamlessly blends elements of Electronic Dance music and features the soulful voice of SA-born singer Savana, carrying an emotional and uplifting theme of love.
In April 2023, Tempo released the highly anticipated EP "Duet of Dualities" in collaboration with Gen Z vocalist Greylee. The project, blending pop, R&B, and electronic music, takes listeners on an emotional journey exploring the dualities of love and life, resonating with the experiences of a young generation.[10]
