Huawei Pura 80
Huawei Pura 80 is a 2025 high-end mobile phone product of China.
Huawei launched the Pura 80 series on June 11, 2025, in China.[1] The series includes four models: Pura 80, Pura 80 Pro, Pura 80 Pro+, and Pura 80 Ultra. The Ultra model is expected to feature a custom 1-inch LOFIC CMOS sensor developed by SmartSens, utilizing Huawei's RYYB pixel arrangement for improved low-light sensitivity. It will also include a 50-megapixel 1/1.3-inch periscope telephoto lens, enhancing its capabilities in both wide-angle and zoom shots.
All models in the Pura 80 series run HarmonyOS 5 (HarmonyOS NEXT) out of the box, marking the first flat-flagship line-up to do so. The series is anticipated to offer significant upgrades in camera technology, with the Ultra model potentially featuring a dual-periscope zoom system. The Pura 80 Ultra could also introduce new HDR technology called SuperPixGain HDR 2.0, which provides exceptional balance between the dark and light parts of a photo.
The Pura 80 series aims to make a major impact on the Chinese market and compete with other high-end smartphones like the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, due to trade restrictions, the Pura 80 Ultra may remain exclusive to China.[2][3][4][5]
