Hugo is an American software company located in San Francisco, California.
Founded in 2018 by Australians Darren Chait and Josh Lowy,[1][2][3] the company offers meeting workflow software[4] allowing for integrations with over twenty other applications for work.[5][6] Lowy serves as the company's CEO while Chait serves as COO.[7][8]
In early 2020, the company announced a $6.1 million seed round of fundraising led by Gradient Ventures, Google’s AI-focused investment fund,[9] with participation by Slack Fund, Founder Collective, and Entrée Capital.[10]
Hugo’s customer base includes teams at Netflix, Adobe, Dropbox, Spotify, Shopify and Twitter.[11]
Lowy, Chait, and other members of the Hugo team also coauthored the book 10X Culture, which included a foreword by Eric Yuan, CEO of Zoom Video Communications.[12][13]
