Hung Nguyen (scientist)
Hung Nguyen is a scientist at the International Livestock Research Institute in Nairobi, focusing on the link between health and agriculture, food safety, and infectious and zoonotic diseases.
Early life and education
Hung was born in Vietnam, studied a BSc in biology at the Hanoi National University of Education and a PhD in Life and Environmental Sciences at the Université de Franche-Comté.
Career
On 2 December 2020, Nguyen was appointed to the 13-member team of the World Health Organization's investigation into the origins of COVID-19.[1]
