Hung Nguyen is a scientist at the International Livestock Research Institute in Nairobi, focusing on the link between health and agriculture, food safety, and infectious and zoonotic diseases.
Early life and education[edit]
Hung was born in Vietnam, studied BSc in biology at the Hanoi National University of Education and a PHD in Life and Environmental Sciences at the Université de Franche-Comté.
Career[edit]
On 2 December 2020, Nguyen was appointed to the 13 member team of the World Health Organization's investigation into the origins of COVID-19.[1]
