Hunter Skinner (born April 29, 2001) is an American ice hockey defenseman for the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League while as a prospect for the New York Rangers.

Skinner was drafted by the Rangers in the fourth round, 122nd overall, of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. He won a gold medal playing for the United States at the 2021 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships.[1] He began his professional career in 2020 appearing in 26 games for the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL, scoring 7 goals and recording 10 assists. He signed his first NHL contract with the Rangers in 2021 and was immediately assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack.[2]
