Hussain Shehab Kankouni (born 30 May 2005) is a Kuwaiti professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Kazma on loan from Al-Arabi[1] and Kuwait national football team.[2][3]
He is the son of former Kuwait international and Al-Arabi, Kazma, and Al-Fahaheel goalkeeper Shehab Kankouni.
Club career
Al-Arabi
Kankouni was called up to the first team at the start of the 2023-24 season as the team's third keeper. He also played for the club's under-21 team.
Kazma loan
2024-2026
At the start of the 2024-25 season Kankouni was loaned to Kazma on a two-year deal to play for both first team and the club's under-21 side.[4]
In the final game of the 2024-25 Kuwaiti Premier League season against Al-Nasr he made his debut and kept a clean sheet while saving a penalty kick in a 0-0 draw.

Kankouni has been called up for Kuwait Under 23 for 2026 AFC U-23 Asian Cup qualification [5]
