Hussaini Abdu

Hussaini Abdu is a Nigerian political economist and defence studies professional at the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna.[1]
His work has encompassed institutional and independent reviews, strategic planning, and international consultancies in Africa and Latin America.[2]
Abdu was the Country Director of Action Aid Nigeria from 2009 to 2015. He then worked as Country Director of Plan International Nigeria from April 2015 until when he scheduled to stepped down at the end of February 2021.[3][2][4]
He has written two books on Nigerian and African civil society, security, democratic governance, and development. titled: "Clash of Identity[5]: State, Society, and Ethno-Religious Conflicts in Northern Nigeria[6]," published in 2010, and "Partitioned Borgu [7][8]: State, Politics, and Society in a West African Border Region," released in 2019.[1] He has also written in scholarly journals.[9]
