Huzaifa Mazhar (Urdu:حزیفہ مظہر) is a Pakistani Column Writer. He is currently the columnist of Cyber @ Print, a page show in The News.[1]
Career
Huzaifa Mazhar started his career as a painter and then turned into a columnist and then appeared on The Nation in 2009. However, he left The Nation due to some personal issues.
He then joined The News International.[2]
Other Achievements
Prefect of SMA
Huzaifa, due to his services, was promoted as the Prefect of SMA in 2011. He became the 21st Prefect. He resigned after three years, in 2013.
First Column
Mazhar wrote his first column, Win 7 vs Win 8, which increased his popularity. This article was first published in Cyber @ Print, The News International. This also made him Pakistan's Youngest Column writer. Huzaifa also proved to be a good Painter. During Mc donalds' Go Green Competition, he won first prize for painting. Due to that article, The News received more than one thousand readers just in Rawalpindi.[3]
Poet
Huzaifa also started his poetry in 2010. His poetry became so popular that he was nominated for the Best Poet Award 2015.[4]
Read With Me
Huzaifa won other awards:
- The Read With Me Award won by Huzaifa was for setting a record for reading one hundred books in a day. This was the first time this was done in the history of SMA.[5]
