John Jacob Hannibal V, better known as Hvnnibvl, is an American music producer, singer, and songwriter from Buffalo, New York. His musical style primarily melds elements of electropop and contemporary R&B.
His songs include "On & On",[1] "On & On (Evix Remix)", "Body of Gold" in collaboration with record producer KDrew,[2] and "Wake Up" [3] released via Universal Music Group sub-label Enter Records.
Career[edit]
In June 2016 his single "Lose" was number 6 on Spotify UK most viral tracks listing.[4] In February 2017 his single "No Cover" entered the Spotify UK Daily Viral Charts, peaking at number 37.[5] Between 2017 and 2018, he performed as a supporting act for Lil Uzi Vert, Blackbear, Roy Wood$, THEY., and Poppy. In 2018 he produced the song "Semper" for Rapper Last Verse,[6] which featured in the Showtime series Shameless, The CW series All American, the Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg starring movie Me Time, and the Peacock series Bel-Air between 2020 and 2022.
In 2020 he released his EP "Resaonably, Relative", which included the singles "Losin My Mind"[7] and "Who's Gotcha".[8] In 2022 he released three singles, including the single "Never Enough".[9]
