Hybrid Designs PLC is an Ethiopian software development company founded by entrepreneur and computer scientist Samrawit Fikru in 2014. The company supplements mobile app to RIDE share taxi company with the aim of improving the transportation system safe and convenient.[1] In 2022, the company signed agreement with Ethio-telecom to enable users access its service and product through telecom system.[2]
History
Hybrid Designs was founded by Samrawit Fikru in December 2014 and entered RIDE market in 2017 with the aim of improving the transportation system safe and convenient with assistance of mobile app.[3][4] In 2022, Ethio telecom and Hybrid Designs PLC signed agreement to enable its customers use Ethio-telecom product and services through RIDE transport service.[2][5] In that year, Hybrid Designs market entered Djibouti with its subsidiary.[6]
