Hyperscience is an artificial intelligence and intelligent automation company.

History[edit]

Peter Brodksy, Vladimir Tzankov, and Krasimir Marinov founded Hyperscience in 2014. The company based in New York City, NY, also has offices in Sofia, Bulgaria and London, United Kingdom. The initial investors included Third Kind Ventures, AME Cloud Ventures, Slow Ventures, BoxGroup, and Acequia Capital. In December 2016, the company announced they raised $18 million in a Series A round from existing investors along with the addition of FirstMark Capital and Felicis Ventures.[1] In January 2019, the company announced a $30 million funding for Series B, led by Stripes Group, FirstMark Capital and Felicis Ventures, as well as new investors Battery Ventures, Global Founders Capital, TD Ameritrade and QBE.[2]

Software[edit]

Hyperscience offers an intelligent document processing solution built on a machine learning platform for enterprises dealing with high volumes of document processing and manual data entry. The product processes structured and semi-structured data on documents, automating up to 80%+ of manual document sorting, out of the box with 99.5% accuracy. The low-code platform provides enterprises with an easy to use solution for classification and data extraction.

Hyperscience’s product currently serves enterprises within the insurance, financial services, government and healthcare industries. The product is currently a on-premise software, giving businesses full control and security over their data.

Recognition[edit]

In January 2020, Hyperscience was honored in BuiltinNYC’s ‘Best Places to Work in NYC in 2020.’[3] Hyperscience was also named one of CIO Review’s Top 20 Most Promising Insurance Technology Solutions Providers.[4] On January 22, 2020, Business Intelligence Group announced Hyperscience a winner amongst the 2020 BIG Innovation Awards list, as well. [5]

In February 2020, Hyperscience was featured in New York Bootcamp’s “30 New York Startups to Watch in 2020”.[6] The company was also recognized amongst 34 companies by Business Intelligence Group in their review of the 2020 Best Places to Work.[7]

On March 3, 2020, Hyperscience was named to CB Insight’s fourth annual AI 100 ranking, showcasing the 100 most promising private artificial intelligence companies in the world.[8]

In April 2020, Everest Group, an analyst for computer software and technologies, named Hyperscience a Major Contender in their annual IDP PEAK Matrix Report 2020.[9] Hyperscience was also named a Hot Vendor by analyst, HFS Research, in their Hot Vendor Q1 2020 Report amongst four emerging technologies.[10]
