I$AIAH
Isaiah Boisey Stokes II (born July 10, 1980), known professionally as I$AIAH, is an American actor, rapper, songwriter, businessman, and manager. Born in the South Jamaica neighborhood of the borough of Queens, Stokes is the son of a father who is a Jazz musician, Savada and a mother who is an actress, Donna Marie Mitchell-Stokes who was an early member of Harlem's National Black Theatre founded by Dr. Barbara Ann Teer. Stokes began acting at the age of 9 at the Black Spectrum Theatre Company in Queens, New York. He has prominent roles in many critically acclaimed films and tv series, including Rescue Me (2006) where he plays the role of the shooter who murders Tommy's (Denis Leary) brother.[1]
Stokes' acting career followed shortly after the success of his music career. In 2005 he released the cult classic record entitled "I love you Isaiah".[2] He then released an album with G-Unit's own DJ Whoo Kid entitled "The Best Of I$AIAH Volume 1".[3]
